I think you should pick 2 or 3 colors as a scheme. One color for the main color for walls. Then use the trim’s color for railing, windows frames, etc and another color if you like for the main door for an accent. Victorian house usually rich color like yellow, red, green for the main color will work then use lighter color in the same hue for trims color.
Have fun.
Go to your local court house and see if it tells what original color it was when it was built. You might ask others too. I suggest you do a little research as to what colors were popular in that era. I know teals or pinks were. I would paint it according to the colors of that era.
