If i were to take it all off so the wood is remaining could i bond plaster board to it then have it skimmed??? Also is it ok to have the ceiling skimmed also ( plaster lathe) the ceiling seems solid or would you recomend plaster board over the top and then have it skimmed??? can anyone help please. I know that just about everything that could be made fancy and decorated in a Victorian home, was. I am not talking about mold cast plaster, but rather random textures left by not totally smoothing out the plaster. I don’t recall ever having seen it used, just the ultra smooth plaster or cast plaster. Read More →
