Question by Sha!: What was a high profession during the Victorian Era? I’m basically needing this information for a video project I’m working on. Anyways, I’m needing to find a profession for an adult male that would be able to afford a very, very nice house. So, what profession during the Victorian Era generally made alot of money to be able to purchase a nice house with butlers, maid and other high class people. Other than a king?
