Question by Carrie: I need help creating a “modern” victorian Master bedroom feel…? It looks like a room in a little old lady’s victorian home, pretty… just too grandmaish for me. I feel like something could jazz it up a bit and make it feel a little more modern, but not sure what. I prefer the less is more concept, I can’t stand clutter or business. Throw in the fact that I am very...

Question by :): HELP! I’m making a doll house sized Victorian home for school? I am making a doll house sized Victorian home for Interior Design class. This is what it looks like right now: http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/6929/87224562uh9.jpg It’s made out of cardboard. It obviously looks terrible and I can’t come up with any ways to fix it up to look more Victorian. :( I have until Wednesday to finish it and I’m calling out for help. The piece of cardboard furthest to the left is a turret. I have measured and cut out windows made of plexiglass to fit, yet I need some ideas on what I should use to make inside and outside window treatments. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know where I can find Victorian furniture pieces? You know, a Victorian style bed, couch, chair,...
