Question by myfavouritelucy: Where can I find some replacement knobs for a victorian chest of drawers? I have a lovely mahogany chest of drawers, but 2 of the knobs have been lost. I have googled every mix of victorian – knobs – antique – etc but just keep coming up with modern stuff. I’m sure that there are places that keep these items when reclaiming furniture or refurbishing stuff.. I just have a mental picture of a workshop somewhere that has boxes of these things ready for a piece of furniture in need of restoration. North Wales would be good too. I am staining the original wainscotting to a mahogany stain. I’m looking for color matches that would go with the stain and stay within the victorian period.
