Ideas for designing a victorian bathroom?
Question by Dianne S: Ideas for designing a victorian bathroom?
I have a victorian house that did not have indoor plumbing when it was built. One of the bedrooms was converted to a bathroom. It is HUGE and has a clawfoot tub and pedestal sink. There is a large area of wasted space right in the middle of the room. There is plenty of room for furnishings, cabinets for storage, vanity tables, etc. There is also a crystal chandalier in the middle of the ceiling which I am keeping! Any ideas for what type of furnishings to add to keep it authentic? Antiques to look for? Ways to make it functional? Thanks!

You might even find an old chest of drawers or china cabinet to place on a wall for linen and to display old perfume bottles.
