I own a large victorian home, which is costly to heat in the winter, shall I ask Barack Obama if he has a
brilliant way for me to save money on my heating bill?
Such as:
turn down the thermostat
close off rooms that are not being utilized
flannel pj’s and of course my Jimmy Carter era sweater as I sit by a nice toasty fire
@ don’t hate me, perhaps that is the way they operate in your hood, suffice to say not happening in mine.

Well since you are wealthy and make over $200K, you should vote for McCain. Obama is going to be bad for you because you will pay more in taxes. He will only give tax cuts for people who make less than $200K.. And he will actually get rid of the payroll tax for those who are 50 year or older and make less than $50K
Obama looks out for middle class people like me, so we will support him. But for someone of your wealth, you are better off with any good republican.
conserve energy and use lED lights rather then your regular light bulbs or tubes

Back when NIxon was President. He had people retiring and wearing sweaters and training on how to eat cat food.
And it was all too true. Turning thermostats down to 68′ degree’s in the winter time.
They had to monitor the amounts of cat food little old ladies were buying. Because the substance in the food, can only be eaten by humans on a limited basis.
So whatever idea any body comes up with. There is already some politician that has thought of it. Even Reagan and Maria Antoinette.

Jimmy Carter had a true comprehensive energy program way back in the70′s that would have made us energy independent today, if Ronald Regan and the elected Republican MAJORITY had not dismantled it.
