How do you paint odd shaped walls and ceilings in a third story room in a victorian house?
Because of the roof line the interior ceilings and walls are oddly shaped. How can you paint them (a color)

The paint brushes that are like sponges will help you. Also finding a ladder high enough to do the odd shaped corners and ceilings with ample amounts of paint. Then with the square paint pads attached to a broom up and down you should have that problem solved and your walls will look like a professionial job. So first paint where the walls and ceiling mate and then the odd corners, then using the larger pads your job will be short and sweet.
i have the same problem in my tudor revival. in the rooms that the ceiling is high enough, i painted the ceiling the same color as the wall (may not work with a really dark color). but if your ceilings are lower, you should stop at the lowest point that the ceiling hits the wall. or, you could install a chair rail in the room and only paint below it and have the top and ceiling the same color.
