married there? also what are some tips for what to do after the wedding… Also how does everyone feel about the wedding jewlery get a whole new ring or just a wedding band to go with engagement

Gatlinburg used to be kind of nice but it is so full of neon lights and tourists that it is riduculous….it is awful! I am sure that you could find a nicer, more private place in a better type of setting. As far as the ring……that is totally up to you….whatever your little heart desires!

I would say if you want to get married at the Victorian Garden wedding chapel then go ahead.I was just looking at theree site.and i think its a cute little chapel to get married in.it all depends on what time of year you’re getting married.if you get married in the summer time ther dolly wood and dolly splash country. or you could go to one of the shows they have there.I hear that the black bear jamboree is pretty good.I hope this helps you out and good luck
I got married at a place called Almost Heaven in Gatlinburg. Check out their website http://www.almostheavenresort.com -they were the greatest and we stayed at thier cabins to which were amazing. The prices are good too. If I remember when we saw the Victorian Garden place it was very close to a busy road. We went with Almost Heaven because it was quiet and it felt like we were the only ones in the world that mattered. There is tons of things to do in Gatlinburg. You won’t get bored.

I saw Victorian Garden during my trip to Gatlinburg. It seemed like a nice place, but I agree that it was close to a busy street. I got married at Chapel at the Park. It was beautiful and the people are so nice and helpful. We also stayed at The Preserve Resort. We stayed in the appalachian villas (cabins) and LOVED them. They are amazing. We are actually going back to Gatlinburg the first of October for my brother in law’s wedding. Again, staying at the luxury of the preserve resort.
