Could I build a brand new Second Empire or Victorian style house?
Question by ??????? ? JON ? ???????: Could I build a brand new Second Empire or Victorian style house?
The thing is, I really want a Victorian or Second Empire style house, but they’re so hard to find! And usually, for some reason, they’re abandoned or badly neglected. Are there companies that could build a new one for me? And would it cost a lot more than building a modern-style house?

You can get anything you want built if you can pay for it. Yes, it probably would cost more to build an old style house. They had more detail, inside and out. One of the reasons people don’t build them much any more is that newer style houses are cheaper, or I’d have an older style house myself. You’d maybe want to find a contractor with above-average woodworking skills for that detail. Interior fittings such as lighting would cost more than average too.

Three lockets in one! This fanciful design is clever and fun with gleaming rose gold tone links embracing a front toggle closure for added protection. From the bail a number of unique charms are suspended including three separate working lockets.

I like this locket, becasue it is very gentle. I am using only one (removed all except the bigger one) and enjoy it.
