Adventures in a 19th Century Victorian House Part I
I love old Victorian homes. I also find it fascinating not only the original design, but also all of the additions and retrofits done over the years. Also has lots of fans.

i hate those hanging cielings
the first time i saw this video i thought that the house (with the ballroom) was rented out for a reseption hall. i also got the conclusion because of the mens and womens restroom and the south bend comercial stove.
Cool, thanks for the reply. Yeah, i don’t like it when they gut out old houses for commercial gain.
It is being turned into office space, unfortunately (I’d like to see it restored into its original glory).
The house has two electrical feeds, and the one was shut off.
I do not know the history on this house, other than it was built in the late 1860s.
American Legion. The ballroom was added in the 50s for their gatherings I guess.
i would really like to know the history behind this house, this house is so mysterous.
what was this house used for before you bought it? and why wal that ballroom added?
What was that house turned into? Like a restaurant or something? And why doesn’t the original portion of the house not have any power? I love that bar by the way (even if it isn’t original)!
have you sold that stove or bar yet????? also is the hood in the kitchen thats over the stove gonna be for sale??? can you try and get the fan to work to??? can you get a pitcure of the fan?
That GE stereo sounds great despite the low-end design. I like old houses but I hate seeing those hack-job additions and updates.

No, I don’t have any exterior video of this house.
Just that short bit of the rear of the addition from Part II.

Actually I did. Though I ended up parting with it before I moved…
Yay! The victorian house is back! Were you able to get that stereo?
